It’s Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month and Paramount+ invites subscribers to celebrate AAPI creators and talent. The streaming service kicked off May with its Watch Us Rise video promoting their collection of movies and shows that spotlights the AAPI community and the AAPI community’s impact on the entertainment industry.

Paramount+ Celebrates AAPI Heritage Month

AAPI Heritage Month gives a chance to acknowledge historic achievements by Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders and on Monday, May 2, Paramount+ streaming platform rolled out titles in a range of categories. The movies and tv shows include everything from Halo to Star Trek the Original Series, Why Women Kill, as well as Avatar: The Last Airbender, Jo Koy: Don’t Make him Angry, and the Oscar-nominated Ascension, among many other titles.

The category collection also includes performances by Isa Briones, George Takei, Lucy Liu and Aasif Mandvi.

Paramount+ also collaborating with Coalition of Asian Pacifics in Entertainment (CAPE) — an organization that helps advance representation for Asian American and Pacific Islander in the entertainment and creative industry. The streaming platform announced they will make a donation to CAPE.

One way fans can celebrate AAPI Heritage Month is by streaming the titles below, as well as other titles available on Paramount+.
