With the highly-anticipated Obi-Wan Kenobi series set to debut on Disney+ on May 25, fans are champing at the bit to learn any piece of intel they can as to what they can expect from the limited-series. Now with the release of the Obi-Wan Kenobi trailer, Star Wars fans can finally catch a glimpse of what’s to come.

The latest Disney+ Star Wars series is said to take place a decade after the events of Episode III—Revenge of the Sith, with Kenobi watching over a young Luke Skywalker while living in exile on the desert planet of Tatooine.

Today, the Obi-Wan Kenobi trailer was released and it offers a sneak peek as to what’s in store for the famed Jedi and his future pupil.

In the Obi-Wan Kenobi trailer, which premiered during Disney’s annual shareholder meeting, fans get their official first look at Ewan McGregor reprising his role as the Jedi Master in a galaxy far, far away.

Some old faces return, such as Uncle Owen, played by Joel Edgerton, and you can see glimpses of a young Luke Skywalker. It also shows a world where Kenobi has gone into hiding, with a new Inquisitor, played by Moses Ingram, in action imposing a dark order over the galaxy.

The appearance of Inquisitor Reva is interesting as the Jedi hunters were first revealed in Star Wars: Rebels, but have yet to be featured in a live-action way, mostly contained to comics and books in the expanded universe. Expect to see a lot of the Inquisitor going forward.

There’s also an ominous voiceover in the Obi-Wan Kenobi trailer confirming that the Jedi are the Empire’s primary target.

Additionally, some of the first images were revealed on social media.

Things that have leaked prior to the Obi-Wan Kenobi trailer include mostly casting news, such as Hayden Christiansen reprising his role as Darth Vader, and Kumail Nanjiani and Sung Kang aboard for the ride as well.

Obi-Wan Kenobi will be directed by Deborah Chow with all scrips by Joby Harold. You can watch the trailer below.
