Bat-Fleck fans rejoice! According to TCN (The Cultured Nerd), sources close to them confirmed Ben Affleck has officially signed on for more films as Batman. This also includes his own HBO Max series.

TCN confirmed Ben Affleck intends to continue his role as Batman appearing in an undisclosed amount of films.

We already know that Affleck has put the cowl and cap back on to do reshoots for Zack Snyder’s cut of Justice League on HBO Max. Then, Affleck’s Batman will be joining Michael Keaton’s Batman for Andy Muschietto’s The Flash movie.

Now, Affleck is also officially onboard for an HBO Max series with his version of Batman. Reports say the big focus being looked at for the series is the backstory for Robin. Perhaps, a Robin backstory will show how and why Bruce Wayne was so jaded in Batman v. Superman. The movie where we briefly see Wayne looking at the Boy Wonder’s suit with Ha! Ha! Ha! written on it. Speculations are Robin died by the hands of the Joker.

Affleck wasn’t always well-received by Batman fans when casting news first came out. It’s safe to say now, he’s becoming one of the favorite Bat-castings.

We’ll get to see Batfleck back in action in the upcoming Snyder cut of JL sometime next year. For now, Bat-fans can enjoy the iconic Death In The Family animated feature. You can order the Blu-ray and digital here on Amazon.
