Marvel’s Moon Knight Trailer Reveals Oscar Isaac As Marc Spector

Disney and Marvel Studios briefly gave fans a glimpse of Oscar Isaac as one of Marvel Comics’ iconic street-level vigilantes around a few months ago. Now, Marvel Studios released a full trailer of Moon Knight and revealed a closer look at what happens to Marc Spector when he becomes the Moon Knight — a lot of violence in a mystical white suit.

The Moon Knight trailer debuted during halftime in tonight’s Wild Card NFL playoff game between the Arizona Cardinals and the Los Angeles Rams. The trailer introduces us to how Isaac’s Marc Spector becomes the living will of the Egyptian god Khonshu.

In Marvel Comics, when Moon Knight was introduced in 1975, Spector is seen as a former marine turned mercenary with dissociative identity disorder. When he was wounded on a mission, Spector was taken to a temple dedicated to Khonshu to recover from his wounds. He not only miraculously kept from dying, but he is reborn as an avatar of the moon god dedicated to protecting the weak from evil.

The Moon Knight trailer not only revisits Oscar Isaac’s Marc Spector, it also gives fans the first full look at the Moon Knight costume in action. It’s close to being comic book accurate with more of a textured look. The costume seems to take over Spector by wrapping him in it. We also got glimpses of Ethan Hawke, but not much was revealed. It’s been reported that Hawke will be the Disney+ show’s antagonist.

Moon Knight joins other upcoming Marvel Disney+ shows including She-Hulk, Ms. Marvel, Secret Invasion, and The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special as part of Marvel Studios’ streaming plans for phase four of the MCU this year.

As for Marvel phase four movies this year, the list includes Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, Thor: Love and Thunder, and Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.

Marvel’s Moon Knight is set to hit Disney+ on March 30. Check out the Moon Knight trailer below.
